The location traces its history from later Middle Ages and has had a large working class population. There are 22 landmark buildings, 4 temples for different minorities, and a subway station from the Soviet era. My design purpose was to make a building deeply integrated into the urban environment in a social and cultural way, linking the current architectural trends to the historic tradition within the architectural environment and panoramic view using local bricks as materials and glass for reflecting surroundings.
