...Sartoris, shall we make a fire here?...
After having spent a significant time of my life in outdoors; hiking, exploring wilderness and gazing over the beautiful landscapes, I grew an interested of campsites I have kept coming across. The campsite is an unexplored typology of architecture, yet the oldest one. It is one of the most socializing special constructs, at which strangers can build up a bond over the fire and beverage, share stories and gaze into the starts.
Campsites go as far back as our own species. Some anthropologist and evolutionary psychologists think that our Consciousness had arisen during the time when the early man started articulating his reflection upon the spaces and surroundings in the campsite, next to the fire. This is where we, the humans, developed our awareness.
My response to such a mysterious and list explored typology was to maximize the human bond, at the fire, while providing a secure and firm shelter where the experience of the nature, social interaction is not overshadowed by a discomfort of hostile weather.
